I am unable to find files that I uploaded/published earlier. What happened and how do I retrieve them?

First and foremost you should try to search for these files using advanced queries: https://mediahaven.freshdesk.com/solution/articles/9000076511-advanced-search-queries

You could also take a look on the monitoring website.

This can be found here:

In case you don't see this button it means you don't have the necessary rights to view this page. Ask your administrator to see if he/she can provide access to you.

If you still couldn't retrieve them there are several things that could have happened. The situations described below are the most common ones we've encountered thus far.

1. After assigning rights and publishing them, the rights do not correspond with your usergroup(s). This means you are unable to search for these files as you're not part of a group that has access to them.

  • Ask one of your MediaHaven administrators - who has access to all usergroups - to search for the file(s) and supply them with as much information as possible.

2.You or someone else deleted them from MediaHaven.

  • Contact MediaHaven support and create a ticket to check if these files were deleted and by whom. We at least need the filename but more information (such as date that it was deleted) is always welcome.

MediaHaven support is always willing to help you retrieve the files, so if all of the above did not work you may create a support ticket and we will help you as quickly as possible.
